QuickBooks Online Simple Start - Why are my bills not syncing?


QuickBooks Online Simple Start version does not support bills or bill sync features.  If you would like to sync bills from Viewpost to QuickBooks Online you will need to upgrade your version of QuickBooks Online to a version that supports bills.  Click here to see QuickBooks Online versions and the features they support.

While connected to QuickBooks Online Simple Start version, we recommend turning off Auto - Sync Bills on the sync setting page

  • While Auto-Sync bills is on bills from connected vendor will be automatically approved but will not sync to QuickBooks Online Simple Start Version.  Emails will be sent notifying of the failed sync.
  • When the feature is turned off the bills will not be automatically approved and will not sync to QuickBooks Online Simple Start version.  Notifications of failed syncs will not be sent.
