Paper checks are sent to the address in your payment file, regardless of what the vendor may have on Viewpost, or other various address you may have in your account package or Viewpost address book.
Checks are mailed traditional United States Postal Services with no tracking information or insurance.
Sometimes the payment address had not been updated, or has changed.
Checks do get lost in the mail, which is why Viewpost aims to have everyone enroll for electronic or virtual card payments.
If it has been more than 7 days and the check has not arrived at the correct address please follow the steps below:
- Check your bank to see if the check has been cashed. Perhaps another individual at the company already received the funds. If it has not been cashed ‘Stop payment’ on the check.
- Verify the mailing address or have the vendor enroll in electronic payment.
- Reissue the payment.
