When errors occur, we may request the Viewpost and QuickBooks log files so we can trouble shoot the problems.
The log files can be located as indicated below.
Viewpost Log File:
- Type %appdata% in the Windows search box
- Click on Roaming, then Viewpost, Logs.
- Locate vpsynclog and then copy and paste into an email and send to Customer Support.
OR
- Click on Company name in the sync agent
- Click on Settings
- Click on Open Log File Location
- Locate vpsynclog and then copy and paste into an email and send to Customer Support.
QuickBooks Log File:
- Click on My Computer> C Drive>Program Data>Intuit>QuickBooks
- Locate qbsdklog and then copy and paste into an email and send to Customer Support.
If your QuickBooks Program is located on a different drive than the C drive, use the drive that the program is located on instead of the C Drive.
