QuickBooks Online - Viewpost Network Address Book Functionality


The Viewpost Network page lists vendors and customers.  Once a company connects Viewpost to a QuickBooks Online file, vendors and customers can no longer be added directly on the Network page.  

Any vendors that appear on the Network page will have been added by one of the following methods:

  1. The vendor was connected at time of QuickBooks Online initialization and was matched to a vendor in QuickBooks Online.
  2. The vendor sent a connection request, which was accepted and matched to a vendor in QuickBooks Online.
  3. A payment was sent from QuickBooks Online to the vendor.
  4. A payment was created in QuickBooks Online, appeared on the confirm page, but the payment was not sent.

Vendors can be invited from the Network page after they have been synced to the Network page via method 3 and 4 above.  

 

Any customers that appear on the Network page will have been added by one of the following methods:

  1. The customer was connected at time of QuickBooks Online initialization and was matched to a customer in QuickBooks Online.
  2. The customer sent a connection request, which was accepted and matched to a customer in QuickBooks Online.
